Approaching your Fundraising

  • Explain - People are much more likely to be enthusiastic if they understand the need for a cause.
  • Connect - involve students when generating fundraising ideas. They will have a great insight into what their peers will enjoy and involving them will develop teamwork and creativity as well as
giving them a real stake in the process.
  • Boost - shout about what you’re doing! The more people involved the better. Parents, governors, dinner ladies, caretakers, you name it!

Holmewood House Prep School, Tunbridge Wells

"Our Children’s motivations to support Tree of Hope were primarily driven by compassion for children facing disabilities or illnesses, personal connections to other children like them, and a strong sense of fairness and justice, aiming to provide equal opportunities and support to all children, regardless of their health or abilities. Their motivation embodies empathy and a collective desire to improve the lives of all children, regardless of circumstances."
