Have a real passion for raising money for those in need? Then you’ve come to the right place! Tree of Hope is looking for enthusiastic school volunteers. No matter what stage of education you’re in, there are many ways in which you can get involved & help us achieve our mission of transforming the lives of as many sick & disabled children in the UK as possible.

Events

Host an event or take part in your own sponsored challenge! This could include: bake sales, summer fairs, non-uniform days or a sports day. You could do a sponsored silence! Download our Schools Fundraising Pack to get started and for lots more inspiration!

Duke of Edinburgh

We want to make sure that you have the best possible time fundraising, and that you get something back from this experience. Volunteer with us or make your physical section into a sponsored activity by downloading a sponsorship form.

Charity Adoptions

Are you looking for a new charity for your school to support? Choose us to be your charity of the year or for single term and fundraise for us in a variety of ways!

University Fundraising

RAG Groups and Students’ Unions – support us through RAG week and organise fundraising events at your university through the year.

Sports Teams and Societies – choose to support us for the year and organise a bake sale, a quiz night, a clothing exchange, coffee morning, a fancy dress competition or anything else that’s fun you can come up with!

What we can offer you in return:

  • Remote support in planning and running your event
  • A fundraising pack with loads of great resources
  • Collection tins and use of our branding for your event
  • Help with ideas and finding out what would be best for you
  • A certificate with the total raised to display in your school
  • Celebration of your fundraising on our social media

Tips for getting started:

  • Explain: students are much more likely to be enthusiastic if they understand the need for a cause
  • Connect: get students involved in fundraising ideas. They will have a great insight into what their peers will enjoy and involving them will develop teamwork and creativity as well as giving them a real stake in the process
  • Boost: shout about what you’re doing! The more people involved the better, and they may be able to help you in ways you hadn’t thought of
  • Thank: make sure to say thank you to everyone involved and to celebrate your achievements
