Amelia Vanns

fundraising because we would like an assistance dog to help Amelia

Amelia is nearly 10 years old. When she was about 3 1/2 she was diagnosed with Speech and Language problems (selective mute).  This later changed to delayed expressive speech and language with social communication difficulties and separation anxiety.

Although she has her struggles she is a lovely girl who adores animals and is at her happiest when with them.

This is why we are fundraising to provide her with an Assistance dog which will help her in situations like going in lifts which she struggles with and help her to participate fully in life.

So we need your help to achieve this

7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.

If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, then the funds will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objects.  If in those circumstances we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objects, then any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
