Pradeep and Marcus's 100 Hole Challenge for Tree of Hope!
04 Jul 2025

Pradeep Chandrasekera and Marcus Pengelly are part of the Hospitality Team at Hever Castle Golf Club where Tree of Hope Children's Charity is the Lady and Men's Captains Charity for 2025
Inspired by the help and support Tree of Hope offers to families with disabled and seriously ill children and young people, Pradeep and Marcus decided to set themselves a challenge to raise much need funds for the charity. As keen golfers and with the stunning Hever Golf Club as their workplace, taking on a 100-hole challenge seems like the perfect choice.
Setting off at 4am as the sun rises on Tuesday 8th July, they will play 5.5 rounds of golf to complete the 100 holes, covering over 20 miles on foot, as well as playing out each hole.
This wonderful charity provides vital support and hope to children facing serious health challenges. Every donation helps ensure that these children receive the care and resources they need to thrive. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in their lives. We have set a target of £1,000 to raise for this amazing charity. Please consider supporting us in this challenge by making a donation. Together, we can bring hope and smiles to those who need it most!
Tree of Hope helps families raise money for children and young people for medical treatments and healthcare services not freely available to them through the NHS and social care. The charity provides fundraising guidance, campaign development, financial management, charity registration and emotional support from the Family Support team. Families benefit from gift aid, corporate support while also providing donor reassurance.
We wish Pradeep and Marcus all the best with their 100 Holes of Golf Challenge. By doing this challenge for Tree of Hope, Marcus and Pradeep are playing a vital role in ensuring we can reach the many more families who need us, offering hope and solidarity in what can be an extremely isolating and challenging time.
