Kent charity, courier company and shopping centre make sure local kids have a wonderful Christmas

18 Dec 2025

Kent Children’s Charity Tree of Hope is one of 45 charities taking part in the Bluewater Giving Tree initiative this Christmas.

Shoppers are invited to choose a tag from the tree, each one representing a child, shop for a thoughtful gift and then return it to the tree.

This year Tree of Hope is delighted to have received 29 gifts for 14 of the families they support (the gifts are also for siblings) which were delivered free of charge by Aylesford Couriers based in Maidstone.

Tree of Hope is a national charity based in Kent, helping families raise money for children and young people for medical treatments and healthcare services not freely available to them through the NHS or HSE and social care. The charity provides fundraising guidance, campaign development, financial management, charity registration and emotional support from the Family Support team.

"We are delighted to be involved with the Bluewater Giving Tree again and would like to thank the generous shoppers for their gifts on the childrens’ behalf, as well as Aylesford Couriers for their generous help with deliveries."
