Since 1991 the Osteopathic Centre for Children has offered the very best paediatric osteopathy to children, babies, and perinatal women, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Through the earliest days of life with a new-born, or the many developmental stages of childhood and adolescence, to managing a child’s complex condition, we help children’s bodies work to the best of their abilities. 

Paediatric osteopathy is not available on the NHS, ours is the only children’s charity clinic where parents can discuss their concerns and seek support from a team of osteopaths with specialist knowledge and experience in the treatment of children, in a shared and open environment.

PANS and PANDAS are a set of conditions which result in an inflammation of the brain causing a variety of neuro-psychiatric conditions such as OCD, tics and eating restrictions. Mostly affecting children these conditions are often misdiagnosed or blamed simply on bad behaviour and poor parenting. 

We are the only charity in the UK supporting children and families living with the neuropsychiatric conditions PANS and PANDAS. We provide information and community support to children and families. We raise awareness of the symptoms and treatment options for healthcare professionals so that they are better equipped to recognise when a child may have PANS or PANDAS. We provide training in educational settings so that families and children living with these conditions receive the support that they so desperately need.

Rett UK is the only UK charity that provides professional support to people living with Rett syndrome across the UK. We were founded in 1985 round a kitchen table by Yvonne Milne MBE. Since then, we have grown to be the leading provider of information to not only families but also medical professionals new to the world of Rett syndrome. 

Our hope is that everyone with Rett syndrome is given every possible opportunity to achieve their individual potential so that they may live their life to the full.

Supporting Paws is an Assistance Dog Organisation based in South-east England. Supporting Paws matches, trains, and assesses fully qualified autism assistance dogs to families with diagnosed children or adults. Supporting Paws has two directors, both passionate about how an assistance dog can enhance and change the lives of an entire family. 

Kate is an experienced canine behaviourist and trainer, striving to get the best out of canine and human partnerships. Charlotte is the contact for families making applications and for those accepted on to our programmes. Charlotte is autistic and is the parent of a young person with autism and complex and profound learning difficulties.
