💙 Thank You for Visiting AJ’s Page!
Meet Alexander Jamie (AJ) San — a happy, loving, and fun-filled six-year-old boy with a diagnosis of Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and Epilepsy.
AJ truly lights up every room he enters with his cheerful personality. He loves being around other children, enjoys reading books, and absolutely adores singing nursery rhymes — especially The Wheels on the Bus! 🎶

💛 AJ’s Story
AJ’s journey began with a smooth pregnancy and natural delivery at 38 weeks, weighing 5lb 5oz. However, during his 10–12-month developmental review, concerns were raised as AJ was unable to sit independently, roll over, or develop fine motor skills in line with typical milestones.
Since then, AJ has been supported by multiple healthcare professionals and attends regular hospital appointments and therapy sessions.
In August 2021, AJ began experiencing head drop (atonic) seizures. Following extensive investigations, he was diagnosed with epilepsy in January 2022.
Since December 2022, his seizures have been managed with Sodium Valproate and Topamax (Topiramate). However, from November 2025, AJ began experiencing focal seizures, where his arm jerks or flaps. His medical team is currently adjusting his medication to help bring these back under control.

💪 Where AJ Is Now
AJ works incredibly hard in all his therapies, but as time passes, the developmental gap between him and his peers has widened.
Currently, AJ is non-mobile and non-verbal. Although he has a Rifton Pacer, he has not yet been able to use it successfully as a walking aid. We are now exploring alternative walking aids to trial — hoping to find the right support to help him take those long-awaited first steps.
