Please Help Me Save My Son

Fundraising for specialist epilepsy care

I am asking for help because I am running out of options — and my son is running out of time.

My baby has nearly died in my arms.

He suffers from severe, uncontrolled epilepsy. He has multiple prolonged seizures every single week, and short seizures every day. Recently, after being given the wrong medication by Southend Hospital, his seizures became so severe that he had to be resuscitated. While I was holding him, terrified, helpless, begging him to breathe — he vomited blood all over me.

That image will never leave me.

My pregnancy was completely normal until birth. During labour, the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck four times. He broke his own waters to survive. He passed and ingested meconium, was starved of oxygen, and suffered brain damage. From that moment on, his life has been nothing but a fight.

He has:

• HIE Grade 2

• Cerebral palsy

• Severe epilepsy

• Global developmental delay

• Unsafe swallow

• A VP shunt

• Left intermittent convergent squint

He had brain surgery at just four months old.

And yet — despite everything — he smiles. He laughs. He trusts the world completely. He has no idea how cruel life has been to him.

Every prolonged seizure risks more brain damage.

Every day without proper care risks his life.

I lie awake every night terrified that the next seizure will be the one I can’t save him from.

I am not asking for luxury.

I am asking for specialist private epilepsy care — doctors who listen, correct diagnoses, proper testing, and treatment plans that could finally control his seizures and give him some quality of life.

My son did not choose this life.

He did not choose to suffer.

He did not choose to fight for every breath.

But he deserves help.

If you are able to donate — even a small amount — you are helping to keep a little boy alive. If you can’t donate, please share this. Please help me get him the care he so desperately needs.

I will fight for my son until my last breath — but right now, I can’t do this alone.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. Thank you for helping my baby.
