Francesca's speech and language journey

Francesca is a happy and lovely 10 year old girl. She was diagnosed with autism at the age of four. She has always been a very happy girl, but she has always struggled communicating and engaging with the world around her.

In the the last couple of years though her language has started taking shape. She is trying very hard at school. Francesca has got a certain amount of hours with a speech and language therapist and she is doing really well. But I think she would highly benefit from more therapy. This is why I am trying to fundraise for more speech and language therapy.

7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.

If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, they will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objectives. If, in those circumstances, we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child, any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
