Tommy turner - Tommys next steps

for physio and adaptations for tommy because he wants to walk & needs a bedroom/wetroom

FOLLOW TOMMY ON HIS FACEBOOK PAGE TOMMYS NEXT STEPS TO KEEP UP TO DATE WITH HIS PROGRESS.

Tommy was born at 32 weeks and as a result of this and other complications during birth he has physical disabilities, learning disabilities as well as other conditions. Despite this, he is a happy 5 and a half year old boy who loves Disney.

He has ataxic Cerebral Palsy, Autism. is nonverbal and relies on a wheelchair to get around. He also has a heart condition which causes his heart to beat too fast and if this gets worse as he gets older he may need surgery. All of this is because his brain did not develop properly during pregnancy and he had to be resuscitated due to a very traumatic birth.

We have been raising funds for his physio in the hope that he will walk and he is making amazing progress and can now take a few steps around the house. This is something that we will continue to fundraise for throughout his life to enable him to make the best developments possible.

As Tommy grows, his needs are forever changing, and we now have to raise funds for a downstairs wet room and bedroom for him so that we can meet his needs and have some privacy as the house does not do this at the moment and isn't suitable for Tommy to live in. We will receive a grant from the council but need to raise AT LEAST £35000 to be able to have this done for him and continue his Physio sessions. The council will not provide the grant until we have this money first.

Please help us to help him to have the future he deserves thanks for all your support.
