Tia-Rose's dream

In June 2009 our daughter Tia-Rose was born. Tia only weighed 1lb 12oz and the doctors estimated I was only 23 weeks along when I gave birth. Tia was resuscitated 6 times at birth and in hospital for 3 months. She has fought incredibly hard along the way. Tia is now 7 and has spastic diaplegic cerebral palsy, cannot walk and uses a wheelchair. I have seen Tia face so many obstacles but she never lets them phase her and is always determined to find away around them never failing to inspire me. Tia has been accepted for an operation called selective dorsal rhizotomy which involves spinal surgery and will be in Great Ormond Street or Birmimgham children's hospital for 3 weeks. Although this operation may not help Tia to walk, it will help her with movement in her legs and some people that have had this op have gone on to walk. Only issue is this is not funded by the NHS and we have to raise £32,000 for Tia to have this operation and the physio it will entail afterwards. Obviously this is a huge amount of money but I'm trying every avenue I can to help raise this and looking for amazing people like yourself to possibly donate. I appreciate money is tight but anything will help.

We have named this campaign Tia-Roses Dream as Tia said to me she has always dreamt of running with her older brothers Alfie and Ryan.... Let's help that dream come true.

Hopefully we will have a few events happening over the next few months that people can get involved with.
