Donate to Tree of Hope today so that we can continue to help children

Hello, this is my cousin, Theo. He’s 17 months old and he loves to watch me playing. Singing is Theo’s favourite thing to do. Oh, and he loves kisses from me best.

My Auntie Lucy, who is Theo’s mummy, says he is a very clever boy but struggles to move and talk. This is because he has Cerebral Palsy. When he was born he was starved of oxygen and this hurt his brain. It’s called Hypoxic Ischaemic Encephalopathy. This is what caused his quadriplegic cerebral palsy, secondary dystonia, epilepsy and visual impairment.

He can’t play with me but he does laugh at me when I do funny tricks. And he smiles when I say something funny. Theo makes me happy when I’m sad so I want to help him. And you can help him too.

My family are trying to raise £50,000 for Tree of Hope to pay for special therapies and equipment for Theo. The Bobath Centre and Brainwave Centre can really help Theo move better and teach him to use special equipment so that he can talk and play with me.

Auntie Lucy says these therapies are expensive – costing almost £10,000 a year – so she needs your help in order for Theo to reach his full potential.

Should we be lucky enough to exceed the target amount (or if we do not raise enough funds, or if they cannot be used for any other reason), anything we raise will go to the Tree of Hope to assist other sick children.

Please donate whatever you can afford to help Theo. This really could change his life.

Thank you

Love,

Oliver
