Highly specialised Neuropaediatric Physiotherapy to help Kai to walk
Kai is 2 years old, he suffered severe brain damage due to lack of oxygen at birth, which resulted in Kai developing Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), Cerebral Palsy, Microcephaly, Epilepsy, Speech / Feeding Difficulties, Profound Degree of Global Developmental Delay & being partially sighted. Unlike other children his age, Kai has to eat all meals by a feeding tube, due to swallowing difficulties and Kai is unable to walk or talk.
Despite all the challenges, Kai is a really determined & happy little boy, we feel Kai has the potential to progress towards walking with highly specialised Neuropaediatric Physiotherapy which could help Kai become more independent, give him a better quality of life and hope for the future.
