I'm running the British 10k in July in support of the charity Against Breast Cancer and their fantastic ongoing research carried out by Dr Miriam Dwek and her team at the University of Westminster. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and can affect women (and men) of all ages, and although we have come a long way in improving diagnosis and treatment, the UK has one of the highest mortality rates for breast cancer in the world.
If that cause alone isn't enough to convince you to donate, those of you who know me well have seen me breathless after climbing a flight of stairs, so the idea of me actually donning a pair of trainers and running should be the final push you need to get behind this worthy cause! All donations, no matter how small, are hugely appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you x
