Mayor of Tunbridge Wells

On Friday 21st June, Councillor Dr Ronen Basu, as Mayor of Tunbridge Wells, officially opened the offices of Tree of Hope by placing a commemorative plaque.

“It is a great pleasure to come here today. Tree of hope is doing a wonderful job for families and their children “, said the Mayor. “My daughter was involved with a charity in India, so I know how hard you work, and how you make such a huge difference to the quality of children’s lives.”

Jeremy Marris, chief executive officer for the children’s charity, went on to say, “Tree of Hope is at an exciting stage in its 20 year history, and is thrilled to relocate its offices to such a vibrant town.”
