Lucy Johnston

We are fundraising for Lucy to have life changing SDR surgery to give her the chance to walk!

Lucy was born with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, and as a result is wheelchair dependent.

The NHS won't fund her surgery because its not guaranteed to work, but they said the same about her twin brother, and there's no stopping him now!

They say you can't put a price on a child's quality of life, but they do- and it's steep! The surgery and post surgery therapy will be in excess of £50000 .

Lucy is the happiest child around, her laugh is infectious, and she makes everyone she meets smile. We just want to give her an opportunity to live her life to the absolute fullest and make that smile a little bit bigger!

7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.

If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, then the funds will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objects.  If in those circumstances we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objectives, then any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
