Hi my name is Layton. I was born on my due date however when my mummy was in labour i wasn't feeling too well and doctors had to cut me from my mum's tummy. When i was born i wasn't feeling very well so i was taken to scbu, here i was on lots of machines and medicines to make me feel better. The doctors gave me lots of tests and found i was getting better from being born with meningitis. When i went home i was quite grumpy as my tummy hurt alot, a trip to the doctors told mummy i was allergic to some nasty things in my milk. all was going well but then a quick check at 7 month showed my arm wouldn't work, I went to see a special doctor who told mummy i needed a special scan on my head (ct). The pictures showed the doctors i had a poorly head, they told my mummy that i had something called cerebal palsy spasticity right hemiplegia that had been caused by a stroke.
If we exceed the target amount or if we do not raise enough, or if the funds cannot be used for any other reason, they will go to Tree of Hope to help other sick children.
