Keep Isaac Smiling
Isaac is 12 yrs old and has been in severe pain over the last few months. He has cerebral palsy in all four limbs and needs help with everything- communication, sitting, standing, keeping comfortable, and feeding. He has epilepsy and is fed via a tube. Isaac has a standing frame which he has been in too much pain to use recently and also used to have a walker but is not strong enough to use it anymore, we'd love him to be strong and comfortable enough to use it again one day again.
Despite all these challenges he is very happy when he is not poorly and has a great sense of humour. If you were here now he would probably want to tell you he likes Total Wipeout! Isaac also likes bowling and football, when he's feeling well he can use his arm to roll the ball down a bowling ramp with a little help and hit a football off his knee. We have been told to expect some kind of hospital intervention such as a hip operation in the next few years and we want to do as much as we can to keep the need for that away and keep Isaac as heathy as we can into adulthood.
We are raising money for him to have specialist therapies such as physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
The therapy will make him stronger, improve his posture and we will learn how to carry on the exercises at home so that it becomes part of our daily routine. It will be hard work for Isaac and for us, but it won't be as difficult as seeing your own child in pain and not knowing how to make it better.
THANK YOU so much for reading this, please donate if you are able to, if you can't give money then please SHARE this page to help us reach our goal.
