Jaxons cranial helmet
Our son Jaxon is 10 months old.
When he was 4 months old we noticed his head was a funny shape, we asked the doctor who told us to wait and see what happened. Jaxon soon learnt to sit up and slept on his tummy so was rarely on his back to affect the shape of his head.
At his 8 month health visitor check the health visitor told us to get his head checked...we went to see a specialist who told us Jaxon has severe brachychephaly and moderate plagiochephaly and will need to wear a cranial helmet to fix the shape of his head.
However the NHS doesn't fund this treatment so we are having to pay for it out of our own pocket, the full treatment costs £2050 so we are in need of some help.
Tree of Hope reserves to use these funds for any purpose stated in the parents charter, including but not limited to, medical treatment, surgery and therapies and related travel expenses, medical and exercise equipment, childcare, home adaptations and the cost of vehicles designed for the disabled.
