Independence for Jamie White
Hi my name is Jamie and I am a 6 year old boy who has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. My mum has been paying for me to have extra physiotherapy to help me to do things that other children my age can.  I struggle to walk long distances so i have use a wheel chair. I also have to spend a lot of time in splints to try and help my feet to stay flat on the floor. But this is not working. I constantly fall and hurt myself and suffer from a lot of pain in my legs. Unfortunately  my mum can no longer afford to pay for this herself and we need your help so this therapy can continue. I maybe able to have an operation called Sdr but the doctor wants me to try Botox and extra physio first. If this does not work then I will need to raise lots of money to pay for this operation. My dream is to make my legs work properly so I do not feel so different to the other children my age. Sometimes I get upset as I struggle to keep up with children when I am playing with them as I get tired very quickly, and I do not like doing things such as school sports as I cannot run like the other children. My friends are very good with me but I would love nothing more than to be able to keep up and play like them. Please help to make my dream come true and donate any amount no matter how small  it can help to make my life better thank you so much x
