Cohin will walk
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Our son Cohin is 8 years old and was born with cerebral palsy, he uses a powered wheelchair or a walking frame to get around. He cannot stand or walk independently and has constant physiotherapy to keep him at the level he is at. He has botox treatment and spends weeks with his legs in casts to try and relieve some of the spasticity in his legs but this does not last long. The operation Cohin needs is called a Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) and it is very invasive spinal surgery. It would permanently release the tension in his legs and give him the chance to try and build up the strength to walk without it. The NHS do not fund this operation so we have to fundraise if we want to see this happen for him. He is a truly amazing little boy who just wants to be able to run and play football with his friends. We want more than anything to make this happen so we are grateful to you for reading our page and for any donation you may be able to give, it really will change his life.
