Keep Harrison moving
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This fundraising page is for a little boy called Harrison who has cerebral palsy. We successfully raised enough three years ago for Harrison to have his selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery. We now need to continue fundraising for his post operative therapies, orthotics and essential equipment that Harrison needs to continue his amazing journey.
Harrison has cerebral palsy due to a bleed on his brain and being starved of oxygen at birth. The condition affects his muscles and movements.
The SDR surgery was life changing operation that took away some of the that spasticity. It will prevent bone deformities and contractures, improve function, increase range of motion and most of all take away the constant pain and offer him greater opportunities.
We are so happy with the results so far and Harrison continues to work hard to improve his strength and balance. We hope that Harrison can become has independent has possible. Also remain pain free has he grows.
He is such a bright, happy little boy with an amazing personality. He is starting to realise the issues he has but just gets on with it. He has had a lot to cope with since his birth and we are all so proud of him so far. Myself, family, friends and everyone involved with his care can not thank you enough for your generosity and helping us to change a gorgeous little boys life forever.
