A Little Fighter

Hi my name is Adam and I’m 6 years old
from Livingston. I have a condition called Right Hemiplegia which is a type of Cerebral Palsy.Hemiplegia is paralysis of  arm, leg, and trunk on the same side of the body. I’m kind of lucky because it is quite mild spastic right hemiplegia that I have as I can walk (many children with this can’t) but I can’t walk very well or very far like most children and I get tired quite quickly. In the long term my leg will eventually become tighter and I’m likely to suffer quite a bit of discomfort and will always walk with a limp. Unfortunately I already have a treatment's in my right leg which makes my foot point to the side and I have to wear a splint.Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy is the main treatment of individuals with hemiplegia. In all cases, the major aim of rehabilitation is to regain maximum function and quality of life. Both physical and occupational therapycan significantly improve the quality of life.Money from this fundraising will go on my neurorehabilitation in Adeli Medical Centre in Slovakia Europe.  www.adeli-center.com Big Thank You to All of You .with love Adam

What makes ADELI unique – are the rare and highly specialised treatments, some of which originate from space or underwater neurology. Good examples are proprioceptive stimulation with application of devices from space medicine or oxygen therapy in a highly modern hyperbaric chamber. - See more at: http://adeli-center.com/en/#sthash.2Yge0CSq.dpuf
