Many children who seek help from us have very rare diseases. Delays in raising funds needed for their treatment, can result in the death of a child, causing much emotional suffering of the families. More and more, we hear that resources and facilities are not available. The cost of medical treatment is high, and much needed help is required to raise funds.
The Media, - radio, television, national and local newspapers, very often highlight the plight of sick UK children who need urgent specialist medical treatment, especially when it is not available through...

...the normal channels. Very often, the child needs to go abroad, especially for Life-Saving Surgery.

This invariably will cost upwards of £30,000, but...
We believe that no-one has the right to put a price on a life,
especially a child's life.
FOR EXAMPLE:

Interferon Gamma Receptor Mutation: This rare Life-Threatening condition is being treated by The Institute of Health, in Washington,USA. He needs to travel there for his treatment EVERY MONTH. Our hearts 'sink' when we see children suffering.
The Tree of Hope Children's Charity aims to have the funds readily available for each child to have their treatment at very short notice, in order that delays do not hinder their treatment and recovery.

There are many clinics and treatment centres in the United Kingdom that can and do give treatment and therapy to children needing extra help. These clinics and Centres need the funds to pay for each child.

We would like to have a clinic to cut the cost of payment to others, but all the time that a life is at risk, the priory is with the child.
