Over the course of time,
friends and associates of the Charity,
as well as one child that the Charity has helped
have unfortunately passed away.

Here we remember those that are sadly departed.
Personalities:
Desmond Lewellyn.
1914 to 1999.
Patron and Honorary Trustee of the Tree of Hope Children's Charity.
Spike Milligan.
1918 to 2002.
Patron and Honorary Trustee of the Tree of Hope Children's Charity.
The Tree of Hope Children's Charity are extremely grateful to both Desmond and Spike for having an avid interest in our work. We are also grateful for their support. We will miss them dearly - especially Corinne Gardner (Founder and Chairperson of the Tree of Hope Children's Charity), because she knew them for longer than the charity existed and became good friends with both of them.
Children:

Nicole:

Nicole sadly passed away on 21st of December 2002 at the age of 10. She was very bright although suffering from Cerebral Palsy and Chronic Lung Disorder as well as having other complex medical needs. She attended Glyne Gap School where she was very popular.

Although Nicole suffered with all these problems it was in fact pneumonia that weakened her along the last.
Nicole's Mum Tracey always said that Nicole "Had a smile that could warm the coldest heart"; and knowing Nicole the way that I did, Tracey is definitely right there.

Justine:
Justine, we are sure, is up in heaven, helping us to help many more children that cannot obtain the treatment they need via the normal services.

Since she has passed, the charity has become stronger and bigger.

You can read about Justine and some of the other children we have helped by going to the CHILDREN page. Click the picture of Justine or use the NAV bar on the left or the jump menu below.
