The traditional 3 Peaks Challenge involves ‘summiting’ the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales – normally in the space of 24 hours, with a mad dash down the motorway between peaks. Given my preference for 2-wheeled transport, I am intending to cycle the 450(ish) miles between the peaks (ideally avoiding the motorway…)!
The record for this challenge currently sits at less than 47 hours. I am planning a slightly more leisurely pace – although it will still be a challenge!!
I’m doing this to help raise money for a little boy – Ryley Morris – who has Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy, which means that he currently can’t stand or walk independently and has problems balancing. There is an opportunity for Ryley to undergo a life changing operation, which could help him achieve his dream to walk. To do this, he needs to raise money for the procedure, aftercare, physio and equipment.
Ryley and I really appreciate any donation that you are able to make.
