MANCHESTER 2 LONDON 24 8 – 9 June 2013
Start at the home of Team GB cycling – the Manchester Velodrome. Feel the adrenaline rise as 500 riders line up alongside ready to take on a challenge that few will forget. 250 miles of tarmac lies ahead, London’s Victoria Park close to the Olympic Park is the finish, a celebration awaits at the end of an epic journey. This is not a race, its an endurance challenge – and you’ve got just 24 hours!
The Ride
A non-stop ride – through day and night in groups of pelotons – with pace riders and support to get you to the finish line in time. The Manchester to London challenge takes on a 250 mile route with professional support teams in front, behind and alongside you as you speed across the country:
• Start: The Velodrome, Manchester – Saturday morning – 8th June
• Finish: Victoria Park, East London – Sunday morning
• 6 stage route, each approximately 40-45 miles
• Energy snack stops, 2 hot meal stops
• Take on the ride as an individual
• Ride with a partner, or your own team to support each other
• Fully signed route, maps & GPS downloads
• A hero’s celebration as you cross the finish line in London!

Joining the Ride
Ride UK 24 is open to anyone what wants to take on the challenge – you can choose to either sign up and fundraise for a charity of your choice – or pay for the cost of your place on the event. Registration is online with an initial deposit payment to secure your place on the event.
Fundraising for charity – Sign up to the challenge and choose to fundraise for a charity which means something to you – we have an ever growing list of charities who you can fundraise for!
• Registration Fee: £99 per rider
• Minimum Sponsorship: £450 per rider
Self funding – Total cost £295 – or £275 if paid in full when signing up to the challenge.
