The 3 Peaks Challenge
The challenge is to climb 3 of Britain’s highest mountains, one after the other, within 24 hours.
Starting on Saturday morning in Scotland, participants will tackle the highest of the three peaks as they ascend Ben Nevis (1344m) the highest mountain in the UK. At the summit trekkers will have the opportunity to soak up the breathtaking views of the Scottish Highlands before making before heading back down to the minibus and starting the overnight journey across the border and on to the Lake District.
Once in the Lakes trekkers will ascend Scafell Pike (978m), the highest mountain in England. To add to the challenge trekkers will be climbing this one in the dark endeavoring to reach to summit by sunrise – an amazing site not to be missed! Finally trekkers will head off again to climb the highest Mountain in Wales; Snowdon (1085m). Once on the summit there will be time for a quick photo before making the descent down to Llanberis.
Upon completion you will be transferred to your accommodation for a night of celebration and rest.
