Donate to Tree of Hope today so that we can continue to help children

After a normal pregnancy it came as a big shock when Lyra was born severely ill on the 16th July 2012. She was born with Congenital CMV, Hepatosplenomegaly, Thrombocytopenia and severe brain damage. Her MRI shows Polymicrogyria, Microcepaly, severe cortical gyral abnormalities, marked dilation of all ventricals and calcifications. She has been registered blind and has cerebral palsy.

After 7 long weeks in hospital, daily blood tests, lots of blood and platelet transfusions we were finally allowed home. Before we left the hospital we were told we would be faced with many challenges.

We are hoping to do lots of therapies with Lyra to help her reach her full potential. Please help us raise £20,000 for Tree of Hope to help Lyra receive treatments such as The Anat Baniel Method, Bobath Physiotherapy and pay for her to attend the Brainwave Centre and the Snowdrop Programme in Devon.

So please dig deep and donate now to Tree of Hope.

Should we exceed the target amount (or if we do not raise enough funds, or if they cannot be used for any other reason) the funds raised will go to the general funds of Tree of Hope to assist other sick children.
