Red Bull Soapbox Race is an international event in which amateur drivers race homemade soapbox vehicles. Each hand-made machine is fuelled by nothing but sheer courage, the force of gravity and perhaps a little Red Bull. This unique, non-motorised racing event challenges both experienced racers and amateurs alike to design and build outrageous soapbox dream machines and compete against the clock in a downhill race.
Red Bull Soapbox Race
Alexandra Palace, London

Our entry will be brought to life by combining the horse racing skills of an ex professional jockey with those of a specialized team of animal rescue technicians from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, of which said ex jockey is now a full time member.
Our entry will role up to the start line in the form of a sausage factory made from fabric on a wooden frame. On ‘go’ a three wheeled horse will bolt from the factory having been broken out by the firefighters and ridden by our ex jockey dressed as Welephant.
