Brooke’s taking her first steps!!

Brooke is 10 years old, she has Cerebral Palsy and was wheelchair bound.

In 2012 we raised £75k for Brooke to have a life changing operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), this will make Brooke’s life so much better for her. It’s a special operation for children with spasticity cerebral palsy. This operation has a reported 100% success rate in its 24 year history but it is only currently available in America and more recently Bristol, however not available on our NHS.

She had this operation in Nov 2012 & started walking with a walker in Dec 2012, which is amazing!!

We had hoped with support and contribution to raise the rest of the monies for Brooke’s aftercare, as this is just as important as her operation

Please help us change Brooke’s life forever.

Thank you to the Tree of Hope Children’s Charity for all their help.
